Account Manager
You are the person clients can call. You own the relationship. The client's ambition, the team's execution, the pressure in between — and the grace to hold it all together.
We usually respond within two weeks
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
You are the person clients call when they need to know everything is handled. And it is. Because you handled it before they thought to ask.
You manage accounts. You manage trust. You know the brief, budget, timeline better than anyone in the room. You know the budget before the producer asks. You know when a timeline is slipping three days before it actually does, and you've already built the plan to fix it.
You sit between the client's ambition and the team's execution. You translate in both directions. When the client wants more, you know how to protect the scope.
You don't wait for things to come to you. You go get them. Approvals, answers, decisions, alignment. You're wired to pursue clarity.
Race Service is a small, agile team that goes from brief to delivery in days. There's no 40-person account team to pass things through. Account management here is not paper-pushing. It's trust-building, relationship-growing, and seeing the next opportunity before the client names it. You bring it to your team before anyone has to ask.
What you’ll be doing
Own the client relationship from kick-off through final delivery. You are the primary point of contact, the person who keeps clients informed, confident, and coming back.
Act as the first point of contact on upcoming projects and coordinate responses to client requests and RFPs.
Responsible for current client revenue retention as well as current client revenue growth
Work with creative and production teams to build proactive pitches for your clients. See the opportunities before clients ask.
Draft, route, and secure approval on Statements of Work and project budgets, ensuring what we promise is what we can deliver. Profitably and on time.
Build and maintain project schedules in collaboration with producers and department leads. Book crew and resources with appropriate notice.
Oversee post-production coordination. Track deliverables, revisions, approvals, and timelines to keep projects moving steadily toward completion.
Proactively identify and flag risks, delays, or scope changes, internally and with clients, before they become problems.
Maintain organized, up-to-date project documentation. Briefs, schedules, budgets, status updates, and client correspondence.
Collaborate closely with creative, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs, shared context, and executional clarity across every stage of the project lifecycle.
Represent Race Service with a professional, calm, and solutions-oriented presence in every client interaction. You are our ambassador to them and their advocate to us.
This role involves working outside standard hours, international travel, and working weekends and holidays.
